In International Design Contest(IDC) in Seoul students from 5 universities, Darmstadt, TITECH, MIT, SNU, and Ewha (ԏqw) make 6 teams, and each team constructs their machines. This year we have special participants from Ewha university which is a very famous women's univeristy in Seoul, and which is the only women's school which has an engineering department. The title of the contest is "North/South Economic Cooperation" which reflects current national politics of Korea. The contest will be held on July 29th at Seoul National University (SNU). The scene of the contest will be broadcasted by NHK on Sept. 2nd as "Science Eye" from 11:00 PM.
